  1. Entrustment of Property 1

    Our guests handed their property, that is packaged, wrapped and carded wedding gifts, to you in trust for the sole purpose of delivering them into our possession.

  2. Failure to Transfer Title

    You did not hand the cards to us. The cards and accompanying gifts remain the property of our guests.

  3. Failure to Deliver

    You did not hand the gifts to us. This shall be addressed after you resolve your issue with our guests.

  4. Improper Handling

    You reported to us that without explicit permission you interfered with the guestsโ€™ property. You opened and wrote on the cards. You unwrapped and opened the gifts. This is trespass to conversion.

Ignorance excuses not

The objective reality of sin, rather than subjective awareness, determines guilt.    A person is guilty of sin simply by the act of committing it, even if they arenโ€™t aware of it or donโ€™t feel guilty. The guilt is a result of the sinโ€™s objective existence as a violation of Godโ€™s law, not a result of a personโ€™s personal feelings or knowledge about that violation. This is similar to how a person who breaks a law is guilty of a crime, even if they were unaware the law existed.↩
