1st Trustee and 2nd Trustee
Our wedding guests intrusted to you their packaged, wrapped and carded wedding gifts.
Each guest specifically intended for us to:
- receive their gift, and
- read their card, and
- unwrap their gift, and
- open and unpackage their gift.
With mutual trust and confidence, our guests rely on you to safely pass their gifts to us.
To date, you have shown a disregard for the intentions and trust of each guest, leading to a breach of trust that affects everyone involved.
The trusts are open and cannot vest, that is be closed, as long as the intent of each guest remains unfulfilled.
To fulfill their intent, complete the transaction; hand over the packaged, wrapped and carded gifts to us.
When you fail, then return the packaged, wrapped, and carded gifts to their rightful owners, the guests.
Else, restore sevenfold to each guest.
Else, restore sevenfold to us.
As bare trustees you have no discretion to manage the gifts beyond conveying the packaged, wrapped and carded gifts to us; or failing that, returning the gifts to each guest.
Do that which is lawful and right for each guest, as stated in Ezekiel 33:14-16 and explained in Leviticus 6:2-5 and Proverbs 6:30-31.
Do you really believe that?
intrust
- To deliver something to another in trust;
- to commit or surrender something to another with a certain confidence regarding their care of it.
Ezekiel 33:14-16
14. Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
15. [If] the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.
Leviticus 6:2-5
2. If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;
3. Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:
4. Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,
5. Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, [and] give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.
Proverbs 6:30-31
30. [Men] do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;
31. But [if] he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
